New Oven

This year my husband is spoiling me like crazy...or maybe this one is because he wants me to spoil him like crazy. One day I was trying to bake a cake and my husband decided he was going to cook it "fast" and switched it to convection cook. (I don't know anything about convection cooking). It started smoking and he burned the cake and after that the oven would no longer work. Thanksgiving came and he had not replaced the oven so I refused to cook and so he did it. It was a clear reminder why women do the cooking on Thanksgiving lol. Then I started reminding him that Christmas was coming and once again I could not make the holiday meal properly. None of this worked so on our way to going out to eat again (we are both burned out on eating out), I tried a new method. I started mentioning all the foods I miss baking until he was like I want to miss dinner and get you a new oven. Although it will not be here for Christmas, I will have a new one for New Years!
