Famous brand or domestic?

Good day friends It's almost 3 pm here, and I've been feeling lazy all day. More than half an hour ago, I dyed my mom's hair, and now I'm going to fix her hair a bit, make curls, since she has very thin and thin hair, I'm going to try to add volume with that hairstyle. I never buy the same color, mostly brown tones, but I always forget which one I bought last time. Mostly she doesn't complain. I always buy her Loreal paint, but now they are very expensive, even on sale, so I bought the domestic brand for the first time, which was twice as cheap. I was not optimistic, but I was very surprised, because the color covered all her gray hair. Have you almost surprised yourself with a new brand? Or that something cheaper turned out to be better than expensive brands?

Uhm... why don't you keep the end flap from the box in your purse so you know the color you bought before? I'm sure your mom looks lovely and will look even better when you finish with her hair.

I always throw the box away immediately. Yes, the color turned out surprisingly well. I still haven't finished curling her hair.

@Nevena83 Uh huh... too lazy to dig the end flap back out of the trash? Don't tell your mom some guy made a good suggestion. She'll think you made me up.

@DaddyEvil O yes. My mom often complained why I was getting her different hair colors, but I convinced her that every next one was great.

I have always used L'Oreal cosmetics. I am used to using this brand, and I am not willing to change to other brands. I like to wear white T-shirts in summer. I usually buy cheaper and domestic ones. Because it will turn yellow the next year, I only wear it for one year and throw it away. If it is a household appliance to be used for a long time, I will buy general brands, such as Midea, Suber, LG and Haier.

I love that brand too, I use their serums and face cream. But hair dyes are really expensive for them. I heard that the Midea brand is excellent. It appeared in my country a couple of years ago, but I didn't dare to try it.

@zhangxueying Well that's wonderful. I like to support local producers. I haven't dyed my hair yet, but I believe I will someday.

@Nevena83 In the summer of 2022, I bought a hair dye for the first time. I bought a domestic hair dye in the supermarket. I compared the other prices. I chose a hair dye with a medium price. I spent 26 yuan, which is equivalent to US $3.9. After I use it, I feel that it has no irritation to the scalp, and I have no symptoms of allergy.

Do you still keep the receipt of the purchase, who knows you can track it? When it comes to bag, I usually prefer the brand one. Because the cheap one is easier to damage.

@Nevena83 they take this step to reduce the production cost. They must keep the price stable but the materials is raised up

@ifa225 I always bought well-known brands, thinking that they were proven good, but over time that changed. I think many brands have lost quality.

No, the hair dye turned out great and I believe I will continue to buy that brand. I am also often faithful to some brands, but it happens that they change and are no longer of the same quality as before.

I don't find that I need brand names items all the time and that other brands work as well. I"m sure your mom looks really pretty with her new color and curls.

Yes, a lot of less brand products are just as good. Get the name out of the trash. So you can get it again.

I find most generic brands to be fine. Some are as good as the original or even better in some cases.

This is a small domestic brand and I did not expect it to give such good results. The color is exactly what it says on the box and it's amazing that the color covered the gray hair.

The branded is really expensive. I don't.know how to identify the newly bought items if they are the same. I suggest you put a mark on the box on your next purchase. Your mom would definitely like her hairstyle.

You're right, branded stuff is really expensive. Yes, I will definitely buy the same brand of hair dye again, because it performed really well.Do you have a favorite brand?

When it comes to food, I often prefer the local or generic brand over the expensive national brands. But for most other things, I prefer the name brands.

I definitely do too. I definitely buy food from local producers, but I trust make-up and cosmetics to better-known brands.

Yes, I will definitely buy this brand again. In the past, a high price indicated quality, but for several years this has not been the case anymore.

I also xperienced buying a cheaper bag more durable and attractive than the pricy one. It sounds ridiculous hehehe. Loreal is expensive.

@Nevena83 there are changes of qualities and that's universal observation. It's because of the materials used by companies.

Sometimes I've bought a cheap product and been really surprised at the quality. It's nice of you to colour and curl your Mum's hair.
