Coffee, Tea, or What is your daytime drink today ?

I drink freshly ground black, strong coffee in the morning, then, this time of year, switch to hot tea, English, Irish or Earl Grey and may have three cups of that. I'm curious about England & Ireland. Old movies and TV shows aways had them drinking tea, "I'll put the kettle on," is a favorite line in lots of shows from years past. Now I hear more spoken about coffee. Has coffee eclipsed tea in the British Isles?
What about Asian and Middle-Eastern myLotters? What is the favorite drink where you live?
I do use tea bags and today bought some Tetley Irish tea. The box describes it as "strong, full-bodied and malty." Malty? I didn't know that flavor in tea. In Scotch & Irish Whiskey, yes, but tea? (Maybe @xFiacre & @Gillygirl can help me with this
tea business and recommend the best brand.)

In Indonesia there are many types of coffee and tea, but out of all the coffee and tea I prefer green tea as one of my favorite drinks.

I like pop first thing. It cuts the phlegm in my throat and gets me started on my day. In the winter I like coffee with cream and sugar. I like a medium blend. In the summer I drink a lot of sun tea. We try all different types of tea.

Hi James and welcome back. How is the acting going on? People drink coffee here in Israel. I do not drink coffee or tea. In the morning I have chocolate milk and juice and also soda and during the day I have soda.

The acting sort of stopped during the Pandemic and not much is going on currently. I am writing a lot these days, poetry mostly.

Coffee in the AM, and often a tea break in the afternoon. I have some Mandarin orange spice tea from Trader Joe's I have been drinking.

As soon as someone comes in the door, the kettle goes on but more in a metaphorical sense. Coffee is possibly the go-to choice here, particularly among young people.@JamesHxstatic (29256)

Hi James!! Good to see some of the good ole members from 5 years ago!! Tea works better for me these days. No crash from the caffeine. But coffee with a Irish creamer or almond is my favorite. Think I'll break down and fix a cup after about a year. Of course I snuck in a Starbucks the other day.

I see. I have not had a cola drink for many years now. I drink ice tea in warm weather without sugar.
