What is your choice of dry fruits?

We all have choices when it comes to the various types of dry fruits that are available for our consumption Most are available both offline and online Every dry fruit is loaded with health properties and individuals know what is good for them. Unlike fresh fruits however we cannot wash them before use. Some dry fruits such as dry figs and dry apricots are hard on one's teeth While I do not much like almonds, I eat unsalted roasted peanuts which are not so hard on one's teeth. When it comes to dry apricots and figs I normally soak them in sugar syrup and soften them before eating I used to eat walnuts but I no longer find them tasty!! I suppose we just cannot eat something for health reasons alone Both the stomach and tongue should work in tandem. I also like raisins, dates and sometimes prunes What dry fruits do you eat and what are the parameters for choosing them? Does price matter? @allknowing I like any they can either be in dishes or just plain raisins. Prunes are not readily available in here. But when its available I try my best to get one pack.

I buy dry apricots, raisins, dry prunes and dry apples. I chose those fruits because I use them to prepare müsli.

@allknowing I do not buy ready made müsli, I prepare it myself with dried fruits, oat, yogurt (or milk) fresh berries and some nuts. Dry apples are excellent also as a snack, rich in fibers.

I love many kinds of dried fruits. I'm not so keen on dried apples or dried banana chips (although I like both fresh) but I love dried apricots, cranberries, figs, raisins, and especially prunes I like nuts of all sorts as well.

@allknowing Dried bananas are hard and crunchy and dried apples are rather leathery.

I like raisins and dried mangoes as a snack regardless of brand. I also like roasted almonds and pistachios.

Raisins are my choice but I cannot eat many because of high sugar.

I don't eat too many dry fruits but I guess my "go to" would be raisins. I always have some handy and they do take away a sugar craving instead of reaching for candy or cookies.
