Chinese dinner tonight....

My Dad, Nan and brother were kind enough to treat me to my favourite restaurant tonight. It is a Chinese restaurant and I love going there. Chinese is my favourite food, more specifically, the Satay Chicken.
They treated me to this because it's my birthday tomorrow. I am absolutely full!
....Probably be hungry again in like 20 minutes though. 
Luckily we brought home some leftovers. 
We got Satay Chicken, Fried Rice, Satay Beef, Beef Chow Mein and for dessert I got Fried Ice Cream.
Tomorrow in the evening, my Dad, brother and I are going to the movies to see "Knock at the Cabin." It's very rare I go to the movies these days. Then on the 22nd of this month, my Dad was very kind enough to treat me to staying in a resort for two nights. I love it there. I'm looking forward to being alone and having my own space. Before that though, oh darn I forget when. 
I booked myself in to have a massage. I'm treating myself. I'm hoping it can help with the aches and pains I've been having.
I'm actually feeling and getting worse regarding sickness and pains. I'm not well at the moment and my neck and shoulder blade are in pain. But I am smiling looking forward to what's coming. I wanted to make sure I had a good birthday as I feel I deserve a good time. I've been putting up with a lot for a very long time. Some things I've been open about and some things I've not been talking about. Maybe later. For now, I want to just be happy.

My favorite Chinese food is Springfield style Cashew Chicken. It is chicken that is breaded and deep fried with cashew gravy over it and sprinkled with cashews and green onion bits. YUM! (It always comes with rice but Pretty eats the rice.)

I'm so sorry I missed your birthday Dani! Between the terrible vertigo I've been suffering and the Valentine's trip to Disney World, this week has been a whirlwind for me. No excuses though, I should have remembered your special day!
I'm so sorry to hear about your health and pain issues. I hope you are able to get some answers and some relief soon. I'm glad you plans for some rest and relaxation coming up. That will be good for your soul and for your mental well-being.
I love Chinese food too, and just seeing all the food in your photo is making me hungry! I really hope you enjoyed the savory dinner!

Sounds like a great time and definitely some great food. I am a total sucker for Chinese food and will be ordering some for delivery very soon. Usually we get it at least twice a month, but we decided to pull back just a bit. Every time we order we spend about $70 with tip. lol

We had Chinese food for supper last night also.
We did take out, the place was so crowded we would not have enjoyed ourselves eating in.

@VivaLaDani13 I had planned on having our son and his wife and the twins in on my hubby's birthday, but there has been a change in plans. His employer has reconsidered his request to take some vacation time and he may be finished work in a few days for retirement, in which case, it might be a retirement-birthday party. Time will tell.
