I just saw a film directed by the famous James Wan. Megan, which is short for some words that I couldn't remember, is an AI toy, it looks like a real little girl and could listen to children, talk to children, play with them, and could get parents free from playing with their own kids. But Megan was not just a toy, gradually she got her own way of thinking like a real person. I like this movie, James Wan really knows how to grab the sense of horror(not that much), a new type of AI, this movie is really good.

Actually it is M3GAN (stylized in all capitals with a 3 instead of an E) which means 'Model 3 Generative Android'.

Yes, I even played back at this part but I still failed in memorizing the name.

Yeah, I even played back at this part when the heroine spoke out its name, but I still failed in memorizing the long name. Too hard for me.

@maggiesunjuan i'm still busy with my shop and if i go to the cinema at night, my wife tell me that i will sleep at the studio and i think that makes sense

Oh, wow! No, I don't watch movies that have an element of horror to them. I'll have nightmares. I'm really hoping I won't have a nightmare over the small amount I've just seen.

So unfortunately that the website is unseen to me. I was not supposed to see youtube. Could you please tell me what it is about?
The horror movies, to be exact, the movies with a suspension or some with a mystery to be solved but not bloody, are my favourite. I like Asian movies on the topic of ghost, I think they are better in spiritual horror.

@DaddyEvil Oh so you sent me a trailer of the movie hahah. The heroine seems very familiar to me so I went through my memory and I finally figured out that she was the heroine of Getting Out which is also a good movie.
I like this type of movie on scientific and AI topics, very interesting, very charming.

@maggiesunjuan Oh, sure... Some other Chinese people on myLot have trouble watching YT, too. Sorry, I forgot.
The clip shows the scientist talking with her niece who just lost her parents. The woman takes the little girl to the lab to meet the AI. The scientist tells the AI her job is to protect the little girl from harm, physical and mental...
When the AI is talking, the scientist tells her to "shut off". M3gan ignores her and reprograms herself to ignore any further interference with her programming...
Then, M3gan is shown sitting with a pile of dolls when a boy starts hurting the little girl and M3gan tells him to run...

I like horror movies but I never saw this movie.

Yeah, it's really good enough to watch. It's only about 130 minutes long, not too long like many movies. I watched a movie called SMILE which is also of horror type some days ago, but MEGAN is much more better. I reccomend it.
