Suffered from Arthritis

Yesterday I suffered from Arthritis, my first to have such and it was very painful that I needed a cane to walk. Gladly, medication helps that I have managed to go to work today since it is Monday. I don't know what have I eaten, I did drink an alcoholic "Gin and Strong Beer" and a lot of fish as a finger snack. Maybe those things cause it or maybe a sign of aging also is present since I am already turning 44. I really don't know. Anyway, do you know anyone who suffered from it?

One of my colleagues who is of 30 years of age is suffering from it. He gets pain in his joints to an extent that he gets unable to walk. He takes medicines for it but still, feels pain sometimes. How are you doing then? Have tou asked your family member to come to your place or have you gone to your home?

@sjvg1976 Yeah, maybe because it is only my first time so the veins can still easily recover from it.

My osteoarthritis flares up when I stand for too long or consume too much dairy.

I experienced something similar many years ago, although it was gout, and I am aware that it may cause agonizing discomfort and make it impossible to carry out daily activities. Fortunately, mine reversed and disappeared in some manner. But my doctor advised me to cut back on a lot of foods so that my uric acid wouldn't increase once more.

Yes , i have seen it on my family but thankfully I haven't. But it's confusing to identify when it's arthritis or gout. It's kind of worrying when my family experience it

@simplfred My grandma suffered such terrible case before when she was still alive. You have to remember or take note what triggers it in your case. Where was the pain located

@hotsummer Yeah, I have been eating salty products lately which I think might cause it also. I think I should take things moderately from now on.

I had a teacher who had it and a friend too . It needs careful management to prevent the symptoms which accelerate it.

Though I know some of my relatives have it also, now that I have a first-hand experience I know how painful it may be. I have been suspecting a few foods may have caused it which I will take moderately from now on.

@simplfred it's good to take precautions from the earliest time and sticking to that regime. Also make use of the prescription effectively and you will be atleast comfortable. Wish you well.
