There are those who look at my life and say,"Wow, you sure have had a lot of things happen to you!" but I say, "Yes, but look at all the wonderful people I have known, and places I have gone, lived, new foods I have learned to cook, the languages I have learned, and I am still going on!" True, I don't have the energy I once had, but I am still breathing, still making art, still have my wonderful husband, still enjoy a good gnarly head red wine, so all is not lost, and my hair grew back and it is long and purple!!!! What's not to love about that! Do Tai Chi, eat vegetables, drink red wine. Love your friends and lovers. Go out with a bang!

Yes you do. I have been hearing about you for a long time. I enjoyed Switzerland long ago when I could ski, lived in Germany and taught English in the American military schools. I spent 20 years abroad, saw about half of the world. Now, its just me and Jim in Oregon.

@Redmadness I've been here all my life . . . so much has changed in LA even in just the past few decades. LA has always been a crowded place

At 78, what else must one do? My hair is purple, I spend my days making art, doing tai chi, cooking good meals, because if I can get out of bed, it is a good day. But, I gotta tell ya, I left LA in 1969 because there were too many people then. I can't face it now!!!!
