savory avocado or sweet avocado?

how do you eat avocado? In Indonesia, we generally consume avocados by making juice or making smoothies. We mash the avocado and then add some sugar and sweetened condensed milk. you can use cocoa powder and add ice cream on top. when I found out about guacamole I was surprised that people in other countries consume avocados with a savory taste

Avocado is one of the best fruit for diabetics. Why? Because it is lowcarb and no calories. If you want to reduce weight avocado is one of the best fruit out there.

@GoAskAlice I'm very sorry but I always watch diabetes related videos and they always recommend avocado. Don't know who is telling the truth the diabetes community or not?

We have avocados at least once a week, mostly as guacamole dip, but we like it peeled and cut up in green salads with lettuce and tomatoes, They are better with a little lemon juice as well, or lime if you have it. They are a staple of Mexican food, which is very common where we live in Oregon.

you should try it sweet sometime but maybe you won't like it because you're used to eating it savory, if you eat it sweet does it feels like eating a vegetable dessert? even though avocado is a fruit

@DazzleDammah there are also many variants of avocado here, some are delicious some are not, but I still don't eat it plain, the way you eat it plain is much better for health

In he Philippines, we eat avocado with milk and sugar. It is very yummy and good as a snack as well as a dessert. It is good for diabetes and blood pressure as my doctor told me. They may be pricey but it is worth it.

I usually consume them savory, though I once made chocolate mousse with avocados. I liked it. My boyfriend, however, did not.

I don't. The closest I've gotten to having avocado recently has been trying a couple of the guacamole-flavored Takis my daughter insisted on trying a few weeks ago. (Takis are a Mexican brand of spicy rolled tortilla chip that's very popular where we live.) She's the only one of us that really likes avocado, so I buy them just for her. She'll usually have them plain, but I occasionally make guacamole. Sometimes she'll have them as a topping for a salad with other things like roasted corn or boiled egg. I think one of the soup recipes I make is supposed to be topped with avocado slices, too.

wow your daughter is so amazing , its so rare for a child to like avocado or any unfamiliar food why you don't like it? is it because of the taste or the texture?

Sweet or savory, both are fine with me. I put them on toast together with eggs, eat them cold with milk and sugar, make smoothies out of them, I even make ice cream. I also make avocado salad or just scoop them out of their peel and eat them as it is!
