19 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day.
I'm thankful I got up early and had the laundry in the washer by 3:40 this morning and finished by 5:30.
I'm thankful for the nap I got in my recliner after exercise this morning. I was exhausted after walking the building and riding the bike during exercise class right afterward. I have all my steps plus. I have 11+ steps right now. I might up my step goal to 9K on Sunday. We'll see how the rest of the week goes.
I'm thankful for rock painting. I started work on a large rock. It doesn't look like anything right now, but it should all come together in the next two times I'm at the ADRC. I can only go every other week now.
I'm thankful I talked to my friend at the ADRC who heads the book club so I know how to conduct it when I start the book club here.
I'm thankful for prayer tonight. Only three of us, but it was good.
I'm thankful for the time I could be here today. I made a dent in the notifications. Maybe tomorrow I can get caught up. It was good visiting with you in your world.

You are getting lots down I am thankful that I lost 4 pounds in two weeks Also, it was a beautiful sunny arm warm day today

I'm getting lots of steps, but I haven't lost a lot of weight.

I am thankful we made it to our staycation and were able to grab one of the handicapped parking spots. We try to get them when we go to places because it's safer to get in and out of the van for me. I'm thankful for time in the hot tub. We met a lot of people because we're at the beach. I hope they don't get rid of it. George was talking to one of the staff, and they're saying they want to expand the kitchen so it could mean losing the hot tub. It would be a shame if they did. But it won't be for another two years at the earliest.

Sounds like a busy day for sure, but it is always good to hear that it was a good day. That's a lot of steps, but I am not surprised. I need to start working on my steps; well getting them in by working out at least.
