How is it that all moms are suuuuch great cooks?!!

Actually in my house my dad does most of the cooking! I think women are generally good cooks because traditionally it has been their role and the man goes out as the breadwinner - and this has just continued on through time. It is also a good way to impress their husbands by having a good meal ready for him coming home from work!

ya thats true i dont know how but might be ever women is a good cook ?? so every son in the world likes moms food.. well i dont know abt others but my mom make very very good i dont feel like going out.. for dinner i like her food a lot

That is very true, even if try to copy her recepies but i do not find them as good as she makes. May be it is the love mixed with the food that makes the food so tasty.

yES U R VERY TRUE FRIEND.Moms r very expert cook and i thing it is because they know wht we want and also i think that nowadays the concept is changing as the moms r getting involved in proffesional life they dont have much time to cook so they prefer to eat outside for 3-4 days in a week. Dont u Think so??????/

i think taht everyone misses their own mums cooking because you have been acustomed to their cooking specifically and when u experience another type of cooking, your body is not used to it, and as a natural reaction your body goes "where is that cooking u ate for 18 years or watever

All mother wants to show their love to their children. Because they love their children soooo much whatever they cook become too good to eat. They cook from heart and I think that is the one reason mom becomes good cook. I heard all mothers are eager to please their children so they will try to learn to make different dishes to make their children happy. A girl when enters a family life leaves her family and makes a new family for herself. For her the happiness, saddness, everything is her new family her husband and her children. So the love, care, commitment, etc will come on everything she does for her children and her husband. Somewhere I read there is no love as a mother's love to her child than anything in the world.

I don't know if it is that all moms are good cooks I think it comes down to a familiarity and a reminder of being home and being taken care of. Lol I feel sorry for my kids, I can't really cook, what they have to look forward too

Because most of the moms were brought up before all the fast food and instants and tv dinners were so popular. Also, food always tastes best when Mom makes it.

I don't miss my mother's cooking at all. She can't cook. Half the time I'd get sick off of her food. One of the reasons I learned to cook was so that I could take over making family meals!

MUMs are Gr8 coook. but i think maLe can do better coooking that females....cauz u see every Famous cook on TV are males. hehe.
