Chilly did real well today. We took him to both pet smart and Petco. He didn't hiss today. Just meowed a lot. Especially in the pet smart parking lot. George put Chilly on the counter, after we checked out, to introduce him to the cashier, and she was looking for a barcode on his carrier. It was kind of funny. Nope, Chilly wasn't for sale, but that was funny.
And, he didn't hiss at Jules when we went to Petco. All in all it was a good day.

@kaylachan I put Peter kitten's vest on him today so that he could explore the yard. I'm not taking him any further than that.

I don't think Nico would enjoy being out and about. It is good to start that kind of stuff when they are young.

@kaylachan Well vet visits of course, but trips...if he is a seasoned traveler that is one thing...but just starting with an older kitty...not usually appreciated. We had a kitten once that used to love to travel.

We've had many vet visits and trips with Chilly in the seventeen years we've had him. We try to switch things up now and again.

I had hoped to train Bitty to ride, but then we got Bruno and I do not really have a good carrier for him, he is too big for the ones I have. Good for you taking Chilly on outings.
