Should ethnicity be considered when issues arrise

Personally I don't think so because doing so is inherently racist. For example someone from an Asian family who was born and raised in the UK is a British Citizen and should have the same rights and freedoms as any other British Citizen no matter what political situations arise. Assuming that someone's loyalties lie elsewhere because of their ethnic origins is a dangerous route to go down.
