Packages At Our Door

My daughter went out to have her morning cigarette and the step was covered with packages. My new laptop was among them. It has a wide 17-inch screen and is so much better than the other one. The other one had a start-up issue, was too slow, etc. My grandson set it up to work sort of halfway for a while. It wasn't a good computer and I had to wait for it to move along with whatever I wanted it to do. Pathetic ram and very little storage. So my new one is running fast and has twice the storage.
Now we have two beds and a couch to set up. The old ones had springs coming through. Also got a new tv stand. The old one wasn't strong enough to hold up the larger television.

I'm glad you're liking your new laptop so far. I find my 13 inch MacBook Air is perfect for me.

@kaylachan Mine is too, most of the time. I tried doing a jigsaw puzzle on the Greater Good site yesterday, but it was so small it was practically microscopic (there was no way to enlarge it).

I love receiving packages but no courier would just leave it at our door step. It has to be received in person. If nobody is at home, they'll come back the next day.

My laptop is 10 years old. Probably time for a new one, but I just don't want to take the time to set one up and transfer files and so on. It gives me trouble with Zoom and Teams meetings though, and eventually I'm going to have to. Hope you enjoy yours!

We are needing to get my grandson's money spent or he won't be eligible for SSD. We needed to update stuff anyway. Second hand stuff tends to wear out.
