Friday Morning Brief

Good morning from a hazy day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The sun will shine today, and the temp is supposed to reach the mid-70s. We are desperate for rain again. We're in a moderate drought. The near inch of rain we got a few days ago wasn't enough to put a dent in what we need.
Plans for today include getting the notifications done, exercise class, and working on Guns of War.
I was up very early this morning. Midnight. I had an idea that the computer was fine but the monitor was bad. So, I plugged everything in again with a different monitor. It is the computer. I unhooked everything once again and stored the computer and monitors back in my closet. So, the laptop it is. I then did the Bible study and went back to bed. I was up an hour and a half later, got the laundry done, and updated my laptop. What I thought would take a few minutes, took a couple of hours.
So, to pass the time, I watched the news and one of my shows. Now, I'm back to work on the laptop. My game is done for now and I'm hoping to get the notifications worked before the exercise class.
Not a busy day, but hopefully a productive one. How is your day shaping up? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

It's too early for me to be awake yet. Somebody called and woke me up but wouldn't talk when I answered the phone. (The phone showed it was AAA... when they wouldn't talk, I hung up. *shrug*)
We have solid cloud cover but only a 10% chance of rain today... It was sprinkling earlier. If the grass dries out in the front yard, I need to go out and mow it. I keep hearing thunder...

@just4him It rained for about an hour and is thundering again now.
The phone ringing wakes me up... Doctors don't care if I'm asleep when they call.

Sad about the puter, but nothing lasts forever. It sounds like you have lots going on today as usual. We are expecting thunderstorms a bit later. Hopefully they will go by fast, but it looks like a big line.

Sorry to hear that it's definitely your computer and not the monitor. At least you have the laptop to use.
You got quite a bit done before I even got up this morning 
We're supposed to get some severe thunderstorms today and the sky looks ominous. I hope they're wrong and we just get rain. Aside from the weather I don't have much planned for today. But, there's always plenty to do inside.

Like working on baby blankets or is it a wedding shower blanket? I hope you get rain and not bad storms.
I think I'm on day four with the laptop. I'm doing better all the time. I'll be glad when the new power cord gets here. I checked out the power cord and it's the right one, but obviously faulty.
