I Took a Short Walk in the Woods

Today, I took a short walk out into the woods. It is right behind the garage on this property, not far from the main highway. These people own acreage and probably about ten homes that they rent out.
I can't wait to move from here, even though this forest is very beautiful! I'd love to find property to buy, that is forested. Please, pray for us, thanks:)
When I walked back in the yard, blossoms had fallen all over the driveway. Those beautiful bushes and trees are presently covered with green leaves

It's only one month, we will be required to move out. Where will we live? I don't know yet!

I know what you mean. I feel fortunate to have the Greenbelt close by. It is a nice path down by the river that runs through our town. I used to ride my mountain bike along it.

The title of your post reminded me of a book I enjoyed a lot--A Walk In The Woods, by Bill Bryson. He is realistic and funny, has written more books than just this one. You might enjoy his works. I do like being in the woods, however, there are so many ticks now, it's a worry to me. I hate ticks. I've had two friends get Lyme disease from getting bit by a tiny tick.

Our neighbor got Lyme Disease, Jan suffered for years!
My mother had a book, "We Took to the Woods." I don't know who wrote that book, it was very old.

I hope you can find it. At the current time I am afraid to walk in the woods as there is more than one bear around in not a very big area. I don't want to stumble upon them, or startle them.

I will pray you get what you want and that it will be beautiful. I remember all those forested places we walked in Latvia. There was a particularly pretty stretch from where we lived to the small library we went to. So much greenery and many trees and then suddenly you come out of it all and there is a road running by and across the street the library. No matter how many times we walked there it was always a surprise,

Beautiful place. I love the smell of trees. Apparently they emit essential oils that can make us feel calm and relaxed.

I even like to walk in a wooded area every now and then.I even see some wild animals while I am on my walk.
