I do know that the reason a bear would break into a home in Steamboat Springs Colorado on Tuesday daytime because the home where bears live is being taken away by humans in the name of progress. The good thing is that the resident who lives inside the home in Steamboat Springs named Ryan McFarlane was not home when the bear entered his home by breaking into a first floor window. and helping himself to pork chops that were in the kitchen before the bear left the home the same way he entered a short time later. I know that if I Ryan I would be grateful that the bear only damaged his first floor window and food in the kitchen since meeting a bear face to face is scary enough for anyone to go through. Bears are athletic beasts. I would try to be their friend but they not very nice and I do not really like thieves. Bears are vandalists and thieves.I would confront them and say bad bear, but I do not want a bear paw to the face. That was a crazy video and shows you the length they will go to get just a snack.

@Deepizzaguy Yogi be like, "Remember the old days when I could just steal their picnic baskets. Now I have to climb two story houses to get me a picnic basket Boo Boo." I do not think that Ranger is going to like that Yogi.

The cartoon character Yogi Bear resembles the action of real life bears even though Yogi seems to bear a nice cartoon bear.

@crossbones27 I am in agreement with you that the Ranger would not like the bear in Colorado.

That is what many animal control officers are saying that it is just a matter of time before animals take over the neighborhoods.

I wonder how the bear managed how to survive getting back inside the home after spending time hanging from the second story myself.

@snowy22315 That is true. I know the expression "Smarter than a bear in the woods." now.

Bears are getting more and more bold to reach food in cars and homes. That's scary.

I do not blame the bears for breaking into houses and autos if they see food since their homes are being taken away from them.

My step son was raised by his mother in Alaska. One day I was talking to their neighbor on the phone. At one time during the conversation she said, "Hold on one second" and then, not to me she said, "Shoo, shoo, go on, get out of here." I asked her if a dog had come into her yard. She said, "No, it was a bear in my flower garden." Well geez, I would have had an issue with that.

I have heard about bears going through garbage cans to look for food. I don't hear about bears entering somebodies houses very often.

I can understand bears going through garbage cans looking for food. Entering homes to look for food must be something new since it gets reported a lot these days.
