Roasted corn on the cob

I really enjoy eating roasted corn on the cob as snacks, especially in the evening after dinner, or when the weather is a bit cold. I don't have grill pan, or grill stove, so I just use oven to roast the corn. I smear margarine and sweet hot sauce on the corn before I serve it. Do you like eating roasted corn on the cob? How do you serve it?

This is not something we regularly eat. When I make a barbecue outside I also grill a couple of corn ears.

Interesting. When you grill the corn, do you spice up the corn ears?

I also like corn on the cob, and if it is made over a charcoal fire, it becomes even more delicious. I love it

For sure! I prefer it that way, too. When I was still a student, my friends and I went camping and we made bonfire to roast corn, and they tasted so yummy. Do you add some sauce or something on the corn?

@Shasha_ What a coincidence we too used to do the same thing. Yes we used to add butter and an indian masala called chat masala.

That's delicious; it would be perfect with margarine and hot pepper. I like the smell too, But my DIL usually boils it and then smears it with dairy cream.

Oh yes! We can do plain butter and bit of salt. Or we will put soy sauce and mirin and toss it on the grill.

I love corn on the cob. I used to put a tad of butter and salt on it, but now I put nothing on it because to me, it tastes so good fresh, and on it’s own.

I agree with you. The taste of the corn itself is delicious. It doesn't matter if we put spices or sauce or nothing on it.

That one, I like it too. It's so simple to cook the corn by cooking it in boiling water.
