Drug abuse has become a household concern in India now. Earlier adolescent children were lured by drug peddlers into addiction but now young children as less as 13 and 14 have started taking this deadly poison not thinking where this addiction is going to lead them. Alcohol and drugs have become a symbol of modernity in India. Many women in India think they can't be called modern unless they drink alcohol and take drugs. This gets them addicted very soon and leads to them towards disaster. Addicted mothers are prone to give birth to disabled and diseased babies than those that are not. Drug abuse and drug trafficking is not only harming the health of our youths but also their quality of life. An addicted person can never think sensibly and can therefore can never lead a good life. Most drug addicts end up either in asylums or correction homes. It's high time we said no to drugs and drug trafficking.

I completely agree. It has been a crisis in the United States for quite awhile too.
