Unexpected walk

I know some one who drives into our little town to walk most days. I see her often. Someone on Facebook had said she is giving away strawberry plants. I wanted to talk to her, because she also substitutes at the school often. I was filling my birdbaths and watering potted plants when she walked by. Rather than make her stand around while she meant to be walking, we walked and visited a while. Longest walk I have taken in ages. Yes, she will bring me some strawberry plants soon as she still needs to thin them. I left my hose running, so now I will not be able to mow until this afternoon late. So here I am, then I will move quickly to my training sessions. By Monday I hope to be all done.

Sorry that you left the hose open and now you need to wait for mowing. It's so good that she is sharing her strawberry plants and you would be getting some. I would also not stop someone walking to talk, I would rather join them in their walk and talk

I hope your water bill won't be too expensive. These days I only walk around the yard to keep an eye on Roscoe

No, I was not gone long. We pretty well stay low on our usage unless we have a leak.

They grow low to the ground. After they fruit they put out runner plants and that is why she has so many.

It is nice to touch base. I do not do a lot of social stuff. I will put the strawberries in a container planter.
