My father wants to leave when we have too many problems

I told him about my problems and he wants to leave. I wonder if this is normal. He is tired of problems and he wants to avoid them. I can understand this, but we need his help. At least we need kind words and support. He doesn't know how to offer those, but he wants to leave us. He is threatening us with different things. He is so angry. I am worried for him.

Your Father should want to help you when you have problems.

It's true. He prefers what it's easier.

Your father should realize how much you rely on him and need his support, I sure hope he does not leave,

That isn't normal behavior. Unless, has he always been like that? Not all, but a lot of fathers usually step up when their family is having problems.

Yes, he was always like that. My mom cares a lot and she is trying to help me. My father is absent.

Not all old people are brave enough to solve problems and support their children in times of trouble. My father was a very supportive person but on the other hand my mother-in-law was a pest in troubled times.

@dya80dya People who are pests have to be kept away in difficult times. That's the reason I stayed away from her when my children were born.

@dya80dya I stopped talking to my father. My life is better since then.

Well, I do not know but I think he is avoiding being involved in your problem. I think for a person like that you do not need him around as it may worsen your situation and him around not wanting to help is not good. I am sad to know that.

@dya80dya I guess if you can live without him around you, your life would be much better.

Yes. When I tell him how I feel he becomes angry. I have a better relationship with strangers. He worsens my situation.

Maybe you dad has more worrisome problems than you. He might need your help. I would ask him about that.
