I really thought i was going to witness a plane crash

So, I was barreling towards the city this morning on a secondary highway and all of a sudden a small private plane comes into my line of vision low and fast right in front of me..It went out of sight over a corn field and I half expected to hear a loud crash and see smoke, when I got up a little further, I saw it again flying somewhat erratically over the field. I was thinking...maybe it was a crop duster..but anyway, it crossed the highway again and was doing strange manuevers, tipping it's wings,,tilting left and right. Maybe it was hotdogging...I really don't know. The whole thing was pretty strange.

It's also possible it was a new student who was being allowed to try things under the watchful eye of the instructor. I've seen that before... Or, you could be right and it was someone showing off for people on the ground.

I thought of that, but I don't think an instructor would allow such reckless behavior, plus it was startllng for the people on the highway to see a plane that low flying right in front of them at a fast rate of speed.

@snowy22315 I think it depends on how professional the teacher is... The one who taught a friend was either dumb or didn't care what my friend did. I was watching from the ground and thought they were going to crash several times.

In the backblocks of West Australia, Vince was flying with a guy trying to find a farmhouse. They were just about to land on the road as they couldn't find the property but then over the hill came a car. There would have been three very worried people for a few moments.

I also wondered at first if he was trying to land on the highway. The plane was 4 or 5 miles from the nearest airport

I know what you mean being scared seeing an airplane flying overhead close to you. I would freak out as well being an eyewitness to an airplane crash since I have seen a few real life airplane crashes on You Tube. Real life accidents are even scarier than a staged accident on television or in the movies.
