Happy Thursday everyone ! The sun is peeking out from behind a hazy sky. Another day with no rain on the forecast.
My internet is acting up so I'm trying to write this on my phone. My laptop wouldn't access anything so I shut it off and figure I'll spend my time doing something else.
Trying to write a discussion on my phone isn't an easy task since the print is small and my eyes aren't great.
We got an early morning delivery from Sam's Club and it was worth the $7 delivery charge and not having to do a pickup this evening. Usually we would wait until the weekend but some of the items we need said low in stock and would probably not be available if we waited. Now the fridge is full and I just have to divide the meat into smaller portions and stick them in the freezer.
Tonight we're having chicken and most probably doing it on barbecue.
Thats my day so far. I hope I can get back on my laptop at some point.

When my daughter takes her lunch break I'll have her check it. I'm sure it's just the internet being temperamental and not actually the laptop.

I had a problem with my laptop connection one day. I don't know what was going on. So I put it aside for awhile and when I went back to it everything was OK.

I really think it's the internet and not the laptop. At least I hope that's the problem

@Marilynda1225 My connection was working on the phone...so it had something to do with the laptop and internet interplay. Probably the DNS that is what always screws up...at least with mine. I am sure yours will get resolved.

@LadyDuck I restarted my laptop and it worked ok so I still don't know if it was the internet or myLot. But at least my computer isn't acting wonky today

@Marilynda1225 They're easy to just grab. I don't know how many times I'm about to pour a coffee and Vince will call out 'Horses'.

Chicken on the grill sounds so good. Getting groceries delivered is getting to be the thing. Most people don't like shopping, checking out, putting the groceries in the car, taking them out.... Enjoy your day.

I've been doing more and more delivery for my groceries lately. It saves time and as you said all the lugging in and out of the car. It's worth it to me to pay a nominal fee for someone else to do all that shopping.

@Marilynda1225 I've been putting orders in to Walmart for pickup. My husband goes and they put the groceries in the trunk. Then I just have to help him unload. They charge for delivery but not for pickup.

I like chicken and we usually eat it a few times a week. It's something that is easy to prepare different ways so it doesn't get boring.

You grilled chicken sounds good. I do mylot from my phone all the time, I don't have wifi so this is my computer...I caught myself straining my eyes once in a while doing everything from my phone.

My eyes start to water if I stare at the tiny screen on my phone for too long. You've got good eyesight if you can myLot from your phone.

I usually eat chicken a few times a week and it's something you can make different ways so you don't gget bored. Your chicken with ginger and green onions sounds good.
