What do you do on a rainy day?

Last week, a typhoon hit our region and it was devastating. Our province is spared by still it was raining whole week long. Typhoon was already outside the country but another one came. The weather people says it enhances the southwest monsoon responsible to bring more rains this week. It was tough to go out during these times especially because of the gutter-deep flooding. Businesses close and the government announces "no work-day" every so often. So here I am glued home. I cannot do laundry. I am in no mood to clean the house because of this bed-weather. I have watched everything I wanted to watch on Netflix. I am bored looking at social media, and browsing through online shops just tempts me to buy something less important. So, here I am enjoying mylotting today, while sipping my second cup of coffee. What about you, what do you do on a rainy day? Picture by the way was my breakfast, which I enjoyed very, very much spending more than the usual time eating.

I don't have Netflix but I do have an online video site. It might work for you, too. It is I also watch favorite YT personalities usually playing games I like... KYRSp33dy is usually funny to me. I like watching him play Among Us. I hope you enjoy your day.

Hey I just checked out that 123movies, and there are actually a lot of movies I wanted to see. On the side of this window, I am currently watching Stephen Curry: Underrated. Thanks so much DE. This could get me today without being bored.

Yeah, champorado and some dried anchovies for that salty taste to counter the sweetness. I am suddenly craving. From where are you though?

I would probably start reading or crocheting if I got stuck inside for too long.

@Yadah04 I have done a great deal of crochet in my lifetime. I enjoy it. I can also knit but crocheting is much, much faster.

I stay inside out of the weather unless I absolutely have to go out. Sorry about the typhoons. I hope the bad weathers over soon.

That is what I hope too. A lot of people are already affected. WHat is worst is that even if the typhoon already left the country, the constant rains brings a lot of water and we do have poor drainage system thus flooding a lot of places.

@Yadah04 This would be the perfect time to read a good book while you can’t get out.

I'm sorry to hear that your region was hit by a typhoon. But I'm glad you are safe. I hope things will return to normal soon. I love the rain. I usually sit by the window and watch it fall. I call it rain-gazing. But, if the rain is too heavy, I'll just curl up on the couch with a blanket and take a nap. Sometimes, I read a book, watch a movie or some videos on YouTube, or listening to music. By the way, your breakfast looks delicious!

Yeah, we are missing the sun shine so much already. One to three days staying home is just okay, but being home for more than a week feels like going back to covid-19 days when we were on lockdown, only difference now is that there are a lot of water outside and it is just troubling to see more water coming. Breakfast is good, thanks. I am just blessed to have a hubby whose very diligent at cooking.

@Yadah04 Hope the water recedes soon and everything can go back to normal. You can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine outside again. Glad you're going through this situation not alone. There is food and someone to cuddle with. Everything will be okay.

board games and cards always, especially if the rain is heavy we often don't have electricity so it's candlelit game night usually.

when I'm at home and it's raining, I usually sit pensive and give thanks because I'm still blessed with rainwater. I like rain because it is very pleasing to the heart and even the smell of earth when it rains is very delicious and gives comfort to the heart. but sometimes when it rains I prefer to sleep, even sleeping when it rains feels really good. because in my opinion the air when it rains makes my eyes sleepy.
