Do you find certain foods and beverages just go together?

I guess everybody does cookies and milk or coffee and donuts...but what else do you always have together? I just had a BLT for lunch, and I always have iced tea with it. Don't ask me why? It just tastes good together. I also like milk with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches...Of course coffee or OJ in the AM with whatever else I am having. What about you? Are there certain foods and beverages you just automatically pair together?

Yeah, I think milk and any baked goods go together well really.

@snowy22315 For the most part they do, but I do love a coffee if I am going to have a slice of pie, especially rich pies like cream cheese.

We always have sweet tea with fish. Dale has to have coffee with breakfast, but I drink orange juice.

For anything like pizza or spaghetti I like to have a Diet Coke. They just go together. Enjoy your day.

Pizza and coke is one for me. I am not a big milk drinker but I will say a glass of milk does go great with a chocolate chip cookie. I drink OJ with most breakfast foods. On Wednesdays a coffee shop here has a buy one get one free beverage so I usually go to BK and get their ham, egg, and cheese croissan'wich and hashbrown bites with an orange juice and then get a butterscotch flavored coffee and they always seem to go great together.

@snowy22315 It's amazing. I don't know what else is in it but it's my favorite in the mornings when I have the time and money for it. I've almost been late to work because I had to get my coffee. Priorities lol. It's called the butter bear on their menu. I always run into my boss there and she once was like "What is that coffee you always order? I haven't seen it" It is like the third one down from the top but anyway it's amazing but I don't know how big the coffee chain is to know where else you can get it. The coffee shop is called Biggbys which I prefer over Starbucks.

For sure and certain things should never be mixed lol, my sister would eat pizza with a glass of milk when we were kids and till this day I think that's a gross combination.

If I indulge in any kind of dessert at all, I always want some coffee with it. To me, those two things just go together.

@MarieCoyle I drink it, but not the way I did when I was young. My one nephew was a huge milk drinker when he was young, but seems to prefer other beverages these days.

I am not really much of a milk drinker. I will use it in cooking, but that's about it.
