I found a shirt perfect for Fall on Temu. I have heard good and bad about this site, so I hope when the item comes I am not disappointed. All I know is it had good reviews, and I liked it better than a similar one I saw on Amazon for twice the price, so we will see. Have you ordered from Temu, if so, what was your experience?

I got nervous and was just looking to see if there were any unauthorized withdrawals out of my account,,so far so good. I am planning to delete my data though once I get my delivery.

@snowy22315 I have read some scary report about this Chinese company.
It has been banned here because, as you shop, Temu monitors your activity on other apps, tracks your notifications and location and changes settings.
I have read that they can gain full access to all your contacts, calendars and photo albums, literally everything on your phone.

I was pretty happy with them until I found out some of their practices. I had received a useless piece of jewelry they refunded me for, but I was particularly pleased with their clothes. I got a lot of compliments on very affordable items. I just hadn’t known it was most likely a sweat shop. I’m glad I know though. I’d rather be aware than put my head in the sand, and I saw you respond to Marie, so I know you feel the same way.

The idea of them being able to pull every bit of info out of a phone is terrifying. Many of us have our bank app on there, apps to pay bills, and so on. I have heard of several people ordering from them using a Visa/Mastercard gift card. Well, that eliminates your bank card being used, but if the app is still on your phone, the problem still exists. I hate it when bad things happen to good people, when these type of things happen.

Not to offend you in any possible way, but no, I haven't and I never do plan on ordering from them. They steal more data than any other mail order company in the world. They end up with access to everything on your phone, your birthdate, apps, contacts, pictures and on and on. Not only that (Yes, I've climbed on this soapbox for several weeks now about it) they use forced labor to make many of their products--not just forced labor, but forced child labor. I can't go there, I cannot support them.
I do realize that we are all free to choose, please no hard feelings about what I have said, Snowy.

The idea of this app being on any device is, to me, really frightening! Believe me, I completely understand about the need to find bargains, especially now when just living day by day is sometimes a struggle. I will have to find my bargains elsewhere.

I have ordered a lot of things from temu as I am in college and temu and shein literally saves us. But a few days ago, I heard a temu news where several people complained their account got hacked somehow after they ordered a product from temu and now they got scammed as they lost money from their accounts. I hope ur shirt is good, and I hope u delete ur card info from ur temu account for some days.
Their products are really good compared to the price. But please check this news out. Several cases happened like this.

My daughter jumped on the Temu bandwagon too and has ordered a few times already. Everything comes quickly and so far nothing has been a disappointment. I hope you aren't disappointed with your shirt.

@snowy22315 I was reading the comments after I made mine and it is a bit scary. I'm going to show them to my daughter when she's finished with work. I certainly don't want her to become a victim for a bargain.
