Happy Monday Everyone! it's cloudy here this morning and looks like rain. The forecast says just clouds but I bet they're wrong. The weekend flew by as it always does. My grandson moved into his college dorm on Saturday and it was a two car caravan making the trip. He sent a picture this morning via text with him smiling and looking happy. His sister will be going back either tomorrow or Wednesday and since she lives off campus she can basically go back whenever she wants. Today is just a routine day of house stuff and hopefully listing some things for sale. I have a bunch of yarn that I probably won't use so I'm going to see if anyone is interested and then I can use the money to buy more in different colors. I just finished folding a whole load of kitchen dish towels and I think it's time to invest in some new ones. Although these are still okay they are beginning to look raggedy. Guess I'll be doing some online shopping Can't say there's much really new here. No news is good news (as the saying goes) Anything new or exciting happening with you?

I have found many new kitchen towels opening boxes that stayed closed too long. I will donate some. Glad that your grandson looks happy.

@Marilynda1225 When we moved here from Monte Carlo (year 2006), I packed everything, we stored many boxes in a self storage and never had time before to go through them. I have found so many things still brand new there, included kitchen towels.

I'm glad he's settled in his dorm room and happy. I know it must be hard thinking about your grandchildren as college students. They grow up so fast. Amazon won't be going out of business anytime soon. I made an order a couple of days ago too. Not kitchen towels. I need to make another order for books after the first of the month. I have a book signing coming up in September. It looks like I can also get them placed in the store. That will make three stores.

@just4him you really are "famous" Barnes and Noble is quite an achievement. You go girl My oldest grandson is engaged and they're planning a wedding for 2024. One of these days I'll be talking about being a "great" grandma (but not too soon)

Yay for you Valerie having your books in 3 stores. It must be a thrill going in and seeing your books there. Amazon certainly won't be going out of business anytime soon. I had a delivery today for a new heating pad. Still two grandkids not college age yet. One is just starting high school and the other (cousin) is in his second year. I can't believe how fast they've grown.

@Marilynda1225 Don't blink, you'll be going to their weddings. Thank you. I'm excited about getting them in the stores. That will make five stores. Two in Green Bay, the Christian bookstore and Barnes and Noble. Can you believe I'm in that store? It blows my mind. I wish it were nationwide, but at least it's here.

Not much going on here. We celebrated hubby's birthday at Red Lobster yesterday. The service was very disappointing; but we had a good time anyway. Today I have a bunch of little things to do in addition to catching up here. Have a good week.

Nothing much going on here although I am enjoying getting some free things in the mail. I hope you can find some inexpensive dish towels. I bought some from Amazon once, and they were good. I used Amazon gift cards I got from survey sites to pay for some of it. I’m sure that made them seem more appealing.

I'm sure the price on dish towels have gotten expensive since the last time I bought any. Mine are pretty old but have lasted for a long time and then it seemed as if it was overnight they started looking worn. I think some nice new ones will make the kitchen happy. I'm glad you're enjoying getting some free things in the mail. Amazon gift cards are wonderful aren't they.

Well, I just finished a zoom meeting for one of my sites. That was kind of interesting. I am trying to give away bagged spinach I find myself with an overabundance. I hope I get some takers. I would think the yarn should be easy to find takers for. Nice to get pics of the grands at school.

His summer went by so quickly. My hubby texted me that he has 1 very clingy little girl today. Willow has a fever and is on tylenol and is clinging to her Grumpa as she doesn't have alot of desire to do anything else. I don't know who is worse off, Grumpa for feeling so sorry for her, or if she is that sick.

@Marilynda1225 His heart was broken when he came back home again as she was not able to settle. She is having a reaction to her 18 month shot I believe. Harper will rub her sister's back and pat her bottom if she is lying down, and when she falls asleep she says shhh to my hubby and points to Willow. How cute.

Awww poor Willow. I hope she feels better soon but I'm sure cuddles with Grumpa is good medicine too. Hope Harper doesn't catch it too.

I did some Christmas shopping. I got a calendar for my best friend and some cat bowls for my boyfriend's cat. I worked on his diamond painting yesterday. I also went to Walmart to get groceries and cat food. One of the cats is not eating her wet food. I got her something different and I'm trying it tomorrow.
