Did it storm?

I was laying down last night reading Reddit and next thing I know it's raining. So I jumped up to look outside and saw lightning!! I was excited, so I got out of bed and came into what we call the living room lol. The wind picked up at is was constantly lightning, such an amazing show. I watched our outside chairs blow over but not away! It was so nice to see it raining and it's been like this all night and now day.

Love the movie twister or anything to do with tornadoes..we live in tornado Alley and I've seen some neat things in my life.

It may storm tonight...not sure. It is in the forecast for much of next week along with much cooler temps after about WEDS I think. Tomorrow actually should be about 10 degrees cooler than today.

I love rain, and I know I sleep well when it's raining. As a matter of fact, my bed's headboard is against the window so I can watch the rain as I try to sleep. But when it storms, with lightning and thunder and strong winds, I get scared. I think it's all the noise and racket that they make that make it seem worse for me.

I'm glad you're getting rain.
It rained here for about an hour this morning but we're still stuck in the excessive heat area until late tonight and then we'll get some days when we only reach 80F for a high.
We've been seeing/hearing heat lightning for the last couple of weeks here.
