On the phone

I have had a couple of longish phone calls this evening, and still will have one more, a chat with my daughter, before bed.
Hubby made meatloaf for dinner and it cooked while I chatted with the person who will be our newest plumber. I did not like the one last spring. This guy is friendly and not stuck up at all.
It is only Monday, and I am tired already.
I want to do some online research yet tonight. And I want to check out tomorrow's weather. I hear it may get quite cold tonight.

My kitchen sink was leaking and it didn't know it. My mother is my plumber. She fixed it this morning.

Boy, it sounds like your region went from drought to winter in a flash. It's very dry here too but as you know it's normal for us to be dry but thankfully it's not yet really cold here .... I pray it won't get too cold.

I saw where your part of the country will be much colder. I am loving our weather, so much nicer without the humidity and high heat.
Meatloaf sounds good. You're about the third or fourth person to mention making a meatloaf lately. I'm going to have to make one for Mike and I to enjoy. It's been awhile since I have.
Hope all goes well with the new plumber.

Yum, meatloaf. I made some last Friday, and we polished it off over the weekend It was pretty small.
