Good afternoon, myLot.
Get your plates ready. I'm making meatloaf and mashed potatoes with sour cream and garlic. The meatloaf is in the oven and the potatoes are cooking. It should be ready in an hour.
It's been a good day so far. I'll be glad when my new winter jacket arrives. It's supposed to be here by Friday. It's cold out there. Alexa just told me it's 50 and tonight's low is 44. Perfect sleeping weather. I just turned on my heat. However, it hasn't kicked in yet.
What's cooking at your place or what did you eat today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. Not the meatloaf. I'll take a picture of it when it comes out of the oven.

i sure hope that jacket gets there soon, ms. valerie. kinda funny, but i made meatloaf a few days back :) one servin' sized, get 6 meals out'a a pound 'f ground. i'd pot luck scrambled eggs last eve.

@just4him oh, i fix such year round. cooks faster's minis. i like a crusty outside, so get more 'f that, too. reheats well from the freezer'n my lil do-it-all oven. i 'lways make 'xtra schtuff to freeze fer days when i lack the ability to cook fresh :)
'f course, some'd not partake'n my meatloaf. 'tis not 'traditional', but filled with veggies.

Mmm, meatloaf. I am a huge fan and my wife makes the best meatloaf I have ever had. I am of course the primary cook in the house, but she's in charge of meatloaf. I bet yours is very good and those mashed potatoes would be awesome too. Can't go wrong with any of that.
For dinner last night I made a homemade version of Hamburger Helper.

@just4him That was always my difficulty with a meatloaf, keeping it together. My wife's is always quite firm. She's just got the knack I guess.
The last time I bought a box variety of Hamburger Helper just for kicks and grins I thought I was eating a salt lick. It was horrible.
