Those who want to lose weight it is best to eat fruits when one is hungry I have started doing that and hopefully I will those few pounds that puts me under the 'slightly over weight' category. Someone told me that she even drinks water when she is hungry a way to satiate the hunger somewhat I will not do it but eating fruits will be my choice. I just ate a guava. What's your mode for losing weight

I struggled with my weight for a long time. I still have difficult times now but I did lost a lot. I joined Slimming World. I had tried lots of different things and nothing had worked. With Slimming World, it's basically about eating foods that fill you up, give you nutrients, and knowing how much sugar is in things. That was one thing that I really noticed - the amount of sugar in things that you wouldn't expect to have so much of it. Drinking water when you're feeling hungry is a good idea. Sometimes, we think we're hungry when we're thirsty. If you're still hungry after having a drink then you have something to eat. Eating fruit is also a good idea as they can just take the edge off your hunger and have nutritional value. If you'd normally choose a sugary snack then swapping it for fruit is good (as long as you're not diabetic). I love most fruit and will eat raw vegetables as a snack. I have stuck with the Slimming World plan. I will swap high sugar snacks for low sugar ones, I check what's in the ingredients of things. I don't limit most fruits and vegetables, and I try to have lean meat if I can. I also make most of my meals from scratch so I control exactly what's in the things I am eating.

I've been trying to satisfy my sweet cravings by eating fruit instead of candy and cookies.

I just revived my old fruit regimen to lose a bit of extra weight. I experience bloating too and I've got belly fat. What really worked for me before was to cut down on rice consumption. It's getting harder to do that as I grow older so I just try to eat more fruits and walk every day. So far, it's NOT working.
