Good morning from a still dark Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It will be sunny and the temp won't reach 50 as they previously predicted.
Today is a big day for me. My friend picks me up around 11:30 this morning. Today is the book signing I've been waiting for. I learned about it when I took books to a bookstore in Door County. I confirmed I would be there. There will be at least 52 authors for the event that goes from 2-6. I'm hoping to sell a lot of books. I'm taking 40 with me.
Other than that, I need to get the books re-boxed so I can handle them. With my back as bad as it's been, I don't need to mess it up further with heavy boxes.
I'll also get my steps today and maybe work on Destination Love before I leave.

52 authors ! Sounds like a great gathering.
Sunny weather sounds good.
I hope that you sell a good number of books.
Here, we have been battling Haze and Severe pollution levels.
The average AQI is close to 600 + and well, it is already termed a Health emergency situation.
Anyways, I am currently inside and spending some time here. Looking for some interesting discussions.

We have that situation every year, since many years!
A grim reminder that as a nation aspiring to be a superpower, we have to find solutions for such challenges.
Often Centre-State and State to State coordination lacks in such matters.
A similar analogy would be differences between White House and California Government or vast difference between Arizona and California Governments on matter which need some joint action.
Well, but that's fodder for another discussion perhaps !!

The forecast here is for 70F by this afternoon. We have overcast skies but the forecast says no rain today.
Good luck at the book signing! I hope you sell everything you take with you!

Good luck with sales.
When I got up at 6am the forecast didn't say anything about rain, but I went back to bed after an hour or so. And now, the forecast does say rain... looks as if it had rained some when I was back in bed. At least it's still too warm for snw (9°C/49°F).

@BarBaraPrz Most people prefer sunshine. At this time of year, I prefer clouds. I can see the road better.

It looks so pretty. Good luck at your book signing. Hey while your in Door county, you should look for that restaurant that has goats on the roof. I think that is where it is.

Al Johnson's is a great restaurant. I've been there a couple of times. It's not in Sturgeon Bay, though, but further up the peninsula. I have pictures of the goats on the roof.
Thanks, the book signing went well. I sold four, left eight with the bookstore, and will get paid for twelve.

Yes, it was exciting. There's always a glitch. They didn't have my name on the table because the printer decided not to print some of them out. They also needed to look up the e-mail I sent with the prices of the books. They took care of all sales. It was a very good day. There's nothing I can do about my back. Books are heavy no matter how you box them.
