slide out drawers

A parcel got delivered today and it’s the slide-out drawers you can see in the photo. They are on the bottom shelf of the pantry and slide out so it will make better use of the space in that area. This house has quite a lot of storage space really but quite a bit of it is high up and not easily reached. Gradually, I am scaling down our possessions and moving things from the high shelves to more easily reached spaces. I’m still shifting things around although we’ve been here over two years. Every time I moved things, I then go through a period of not being able to find stuff. The photo is Vince’s of one of my Origami roses.

I had a photo of the drawers but forgot and put up the rose instead. I've now used the drawer photo in a new post. I really am going silly.

Are you telling me this is not a real rose? Oh my tis lovely Judy!! Do you have ladders to reach the storage? Sounds great you have it but a bit inconvenient in a way. Yes, you had so much on the land you had in that house didn't you Judy? You are used to being so busy.

@RebeccasFarm Oh, sorry! It's a real rose and the variety is Origami. It's often mistaken for Double Delight which is another variegated rose.

The bottom shelves are always hard to cope with it and it gets worse as I get older and stiffer.

I moved everything in my cabinets about a month ago to make better use of the space. I took everything out and rearranged it more conventionally. Now I can get to everything I need . Things I hardly ever use went on the top shelves.

These are some amazingly beautiful slide out drawers. Magnificent enough that I would not have known they WERE pull out drawers had you not told me. In any event, I couldn't resist teasing based on the post that followed, and as well, thought it would be wrong to deny you your extra penny. lol

@JudyEv Me too. We all like extra pennies. Which reminds me, my wife got change the other day and gave it to me to put into the jars and I noticed one looked a bit off. It was a South African penny from 1958. I need to sneak it past a cashier soon. lol
