The day after

For some stupid reason we set our clocks back an hour between Sat & Sun... Which resulted in too much night and not enough day. It is now 12:55 and the sun is just now trying to make an appearance. It was gloomy up until now. I got up somewhere before 6am because I had had enough sleep. I had oatmeal and yogurt for breakfast plus some fruit, but by 10am I was ready for lunch! So, since it was still morning, I had toast and tea with marmalade. And until the sun broke out, I was beginning to think it was time to go to bed.

By 7 am it was getting light outside. It's 1:20 pm and is 75F outside... It actually feels warmer than that. I hope you're feeling better now.

6 am today was lighter than 6 am yesterday. That's why I like changing my clocks back.

I like what you had to eat though. This time change is not bothering me, but the heat here is.

Should you get up at 5:30 as I do, you would enjoy NOW more day and kids go to school with the light and not in the dark.

I never went to school in the dark, but then, school didn't start until 9am.

@BarBaraPrz Kids must be sitting in their classroom t 8 a.m. here. We even voted to stop the stupidity of DST, the majority of votes were in favor to stop. Well our vote has been ignored.

Takes me up to a week to get used to the difference and I cannot reprogram my cats and all their demands are now one hour earlier than they should be,

It definitely throws us off for sure. I was ready for lunch around the same time.

This whole time changes messes with our body schedules, doesn't it? Grrr. Although I like this one better than the one we have to go through in spring.

I like that one better. It was getting too dark to see without turning on a light today by 3:30.

I pretty much feel the same way. I love the way you summed it up by saying "too much night and not enough day". I hate the transition from the time change.

I don't like time change. I wish we all don't have to do it anymore. I think time is going slowly now for some reason.

Daylight saving can really mess with your routines till you get used to the new regime.

And it throws off your meds schedule (if you follow a schedule).

We each have our own habits. I also often set times for sleeping and eating
