Adjusting To The Time Change / myLot

Happy Tuesday Everyone! looks like a nice day here today. The sun is out after some early morning rain and it's going to be decent temperatures. No need for either heat or a/c. I just finished breakfast (honey nut cheerios with a sliced banana) and dog hasn't stirred. She's been asleep all morning and didn't even get up for breakfast. Usually she starts looking for something when she realizes someone is in the kitchen. I put some food in her dish so when she wakes up and discovers that she slept through breakfast she won't be bothering me to get up and feed her. Guess even the dog is suffering from the time change.

Today is laundry day. Two loads (towels and sheets). For some crazy reason I thought today was Wednesday. Tonight is meatloaf with mashed potatoes. Veggie to be decided. How's your day going?

Your day sounds like it's off to a relaxing start with the sun shining and a calm, sleepy dog. It's almost like you're living in a cozy slice of life movie! Laundry day for me is on every Monday and Friday. it sets a positive tone for the week, or it's a perfect way to wrap up the workdays and welcome the weekend. Meatloaf with mashed potatoes for dinner sounds like a comforting, homey meal. As for the veggie side, how about some green beans or buttery corn to complete the classic comfort food trio? My day is off to a good start too, thanks for asking!

I usually picture my day as routine and not very exciting but your comment about my living a cozy slice of life makes it sound wonderful

We had corn with the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Glad that your day got off to a good start and hopefully today is just as good

This year it seems harder to get used to the time change. Poor doggie. Dinner sounds good. My day went well. Today I start the publishing process for Destination Love.

This year the time change really does seem harder to adjust to. So, the dog slept all day yesterday and I blamed it on the time change. Today she's full of energy and being a pain in the neck

So far so good,no complaints. I have some spaghetti sauce with ground turkey left over from a previous meal so I guess it will be spaghetti tonight..but am not really in the mood for it.

I make ground turkey and have it with spaghetti too. Why not freeze it and have something else if you're not in the mood for it?

Your dinner sounds good. I haven't done a meatloaf in a while. I'll have to do that soon. Might do some mash potatoes with it. Right now I'm just at work. Thankfully, I don't have that much longer to do.

It takes me about a week to adjust to the time change, The problem here is that you cannot reprogram cats and all of the needs and wants are now one hour ahead of the actual time and it is making me fuzzy-headed,

Pets go by internal clocks and not our actual time. I can certainly understand how your kitties are making you fuzzy-headed. Yesterday my dog slept all day and now today she's full of energy and driving me crazy.

The morning rain sounds refreshing, and it's great to have moderate temperatures. My breakfast consisted of some scrambled eggs and toast. Interestingly, my dog also seems unaffected by the time change, still fast asleep. Planning for laundry and a meatloaf dinner tonight, although I'm still undecided on the vegetable side. How's your day shaping up so far?
