About the Car

Okay, this morning I had my chiropractic appointment. I'll be seeing her again next week.
Then it was off to my son's girlfriend's brother's house to get the car fixed. I watched everything he did. He took the tires off, compressed the brakes, put the tires back on. Checked the brake line, the caliper, and the master cylinder. For her age, my car is in good shape. Nothing wrong with her. So, why do the brakes go almost to the floor?
We all concluded my car is suffering from old age. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with her.
I took the brake pads and rotors back to the store. He also didn't charge me anything because I'm family and he didn't do anything.
So, the verdict is in. As soon as possible, I'm either getting a new car or getting rid of this one. In the meantime, I'm not ready to give up my independence.
Have you gotten good news today when you expected bad? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

That's good it is in good shape, besides that issue.... That is scary that the brakes would do that. Hopefully you can get a new one before the time is up for getting rid of this one. I have a car to get rid of myself, need to clean it out but life got crazy and then winter came...so probably will wait till at least spring.

@just4him Oh we did, my grandmother gifted us her car before she passed away...I think she knew she wouldn't make it much longer or she would have actually sold it to us...but we do have a better car now.
A much better car, the heat and defroster actually works so now I don't have to scrape ice off the back of the car when it is frozen.

Hope you get a nice new/er car. With folks around that know about cars that shouldn't be hard.
None of that sort of good news but my grandson and I had a great conversation. We quite often do have some heart-to-heart talks. I enjoy them so much. We've gotten very close.
