Did We Have Storms

Last night it began to rain. Then lightning and thunder. Tell you the truth I think it was hailing. It stopped for awhile, and started back again. This happened at least four times. My cat's had hid. I was praying we didn't lose power or lightning struck any trees. I'm in Mississippi, perhaps you saw all the damage done in Tennessee it could have been just as bad here. It was the same system. One stormy night, I'll never forget.

No, but Tennessee had loss of life and property damage. It was really bad.

@LadyDuck Yeah, it makes you wonder what's next. The weatherman said this morning we had the hottest summer on record.

There's just no telling. We didn't lose power, but some neighboring communities did lose power.

@popciclecold I will surely freak out if it happens here. In fact, the companies that I am working with will be in a rage moment.

I am glad you are safe. That seems pretty unusual for this time of year.

I thought it was very odd to have thunder and lighting in Florida in December but we did have some and then it all just went away, Glad you didn't lose power,

Glad you made it through. It rained most of the day yesterday, but I think all the bad stuff was to the SE of us. We didn't even get any thunder or lightning.

Stay safe and hope you wake up to sunshine at least. If I was your cat, I would think a treat is in order after such a rough night.

The thunder was so loud. My husband had to come home in it from Philadelphia late last night. I was relieved when he got home.

I am sure. It was bad being inside let alone being out in it. Glad he made it safe.
