I must be the most blessed person around. It sure felt like it today.
A friend rang my doorbell about an hour ago and left two packages at my door.
Thank you, Marilyn @marilynda1225 for the beautiful scarf. I absolutely love it! I hope I got your @ correct. If not, I will correct it.
Thank you, Marsha Musselman, for the Journal. I will use it.
I also got cards from @jstory7 and a past myLotter.
I love the cards and gifts. You all are so wonderful! I love you all. You make my day brighter because you are in it.
There's also a card from my niece. Also beautiful.

I got a card from George's aunt, but that's about it. I can't say that I wasn't expecting it, but with his relatives you never know.

Glad to see other Mylot fellows sharing gifts and greetings with you.
I don't think it is a concept here yet.
We do sometimes had "Secret Santa" in office where initially a person unknown to the sender gets the gift.
But later on things are revealed.
This time it is not happening but we had a small but exciting Christmas celebration at the office a few days back.

Is the journal from Masha one she made herself? I know she was into making them.
The only gift I got recently was from my aunt & uncle and they send me something every Christmas. So, although I wasn't surprised when a package arrived I was surprised what was inside. A box of delicious chocolate truffles from a chocolate company in Massachusetts.

@just4him it was fun playing Santa this year and sending out a few things no one expected.
I know Marsha was talking about making journals so its not only nice that she sent you one but large print and Scripture verses is extra special.

I love it and the heart ornament too with books on it. You're so sweet.
Yes, the journal is one Marsha made. It's really nice and is large print. There are Scripture verses on several of the pages.

Yes, I have received a few unexpected cards. It seemed like every time I opened my hallway door, there was another card hanging from the magnetic clip. I haven't even pulled the box with my cards in it out of my closet yet.

We have those magnetic clips too. I have found many cards there from other residents.
It's time to pull out the box of cards. I'm thinking I need to buy one more box. I forgot about two special people - the manager and the mailman.

Two family friends gave us a peach pie and cookies. I ate the last of the pie yesterday. We are still eating the cookies.
