For The Lovers Of Superfluous Information

I was looking for something on the net which I've forgotten by now and landed on the site 'Mental Floss'**. Tell you what: I'm glad I did! If you're a serious, no-nonsense person who thinks that time - free time included - should be spent with meaningful occupations, then this site is not for you. I'd even say: "Stay away from it!" Your mood would suffer and you might be able to destroy the mood of the people who enjoy meaningless nonsense by asking them what they get from it and/or if they couldn't spend their time doing something meaningful like saving the world or at least tidying their room. Why is it that some people enjoy nonsense and can't get enough of it either consuming it or even producing it and that other people think they've lost their marbles and should be institutionalised? Praised be the internet and the good people who don't only fill it with useful information but also with utterly useless nonsense which people - isn't it strange? - often remember for a longer time than the useful facts they've heard or read? Today chance was on my side and I landed on a site dedicated to useless, superfluous, yet exhilarating nonsense (https://www.mentalfloss.com/). If you're not a sourpuss and feel that it could tickle your funny bone, too, give it a chance. --- Illustration from the site

There is nothing wrong with myLot, the photo doesn't show because the photo you tried using is too big.

@GoAskAlice Thank you for your help. By chance, I've found an illustration which fits in without being fiddled with.

The more nonsense, the better for me. I don't like everything being so serious.

Indeed. You may forget the time once you're immersed in a topic.
