Welcome to the last health report for 2023. I'm very happy with where I am right now. Last Friday my weight was 208.1 So, that's where I'll start. Friday, December 22 - Weight - 208.1. Exercise: Walking - 82 minutes. No bike. I wasn't doing to well during the exercise class. So walking is all I got. Calories burned: 239. Calorie budget: 1944. Calories consumed: 1145. Steps: 7926. Saturday, December 23 - Weight - 205.9. Exercise: Walking - 70 minutes. Calories burned: 204. Calorie budget: 1909. Calories consumed: 1471. Steps: 7389. Sunday: December 24 - Weight - 205.1. Exercise: Foot cycle - 40 minutes. Calories burned: 453. Walking - 35 minutes. Calories burned: 102. Total calories burned: 555. Calorie budget: 2260. Calories consumed: 1305. Steps: 9025. Monday, December 25 - Weight - 205.1. Exercise: Walking - 66 minutes. Calories burned: 192. Foot cycle - 40 minutes. Calories burned: 453. Total calories burned: 645. Calorie budget: 2350. Calories consumed: 1672. Steps: 13,188. Tuesday, December 26 - Weight - 206.2. Exercise: Walking - 47 minutes. Calories burned: 137 Foot cycle: 30 minutes. Calories burned: 340. Total calories burned: 477. Calorie budget: 2182. Calories consumed: 1259. Steps: 8917. Wednesday, December 27 - Weight - 204.5. Exercise: Bike - 42 minutes. Calories burned: 476. Walking - 61 minutes. Calories burned: 178. Total calories burned: 654. Calorie budget: 2359. Calories consumed: 1368. Steps: 8790. Thursday, December 28 - Weight - 205.1. Exercise: Foot cycle - 43 minutes. Calories burned: 487. Walking - 32 minutes. Calories burned: 93. Total calories burned: 580. Calorie budget: 2285. Calories consumed: 1768. Steps: 9048. Friday, December 29 - Weight - 204.4. Exercise: Bike - 28 minutes. Calories burned: 317. Walking - 36 minutes. Calories burned: 175. Total calories: 492. Calorie budget: 2197. Calories consumed: 1671. Steps: 6649. 30 December - Weight - 203.9. That's four pounds I've lost this week. You are doing amazing Valerie! Keep up the great work! I wish I could say the same thing about my weight, but I am eating (indulging) way too much here on vacation

@just4him Yes, indulging is the fun part. The not so fun part is when I get back home and have to double my workout efforts.

I think you have done wonderfully with all of this, plus you always hold yourself accountable and keep on trying! Having gone down this long and hard path, I know the work involved. Good job, Valerie!

Thank you. It's not easy, that's for sure. The hardest is right now with the holidays and all the goodies constantly available. I'm on a mission. I didn't eat anything I couldn't account for or that put me over my calorie budget.

@just4him I have one ''cheat day'' per week. That day I might have a dessert, or something not quite in the calorie count, but I do have to say I am still careful, even on cheat day.

I think well..although still eating a bit too much. I had some snacks by the chair.I have now wisely put them elsewhere.

@snowy22315 I have a snack bag on my tray table. Interestingly, I don't have the Dove Promises often anymore. And I only eat one at a time, so the bag has lasted a long time. Of course, I need to sit there instead of at the computer more often to even be tempted to have a DC Dove Promise.

You are working so very hard. I am not one bit skinny and my husband still is bony. I hate how his shoulder bones stiick out. He is determined to stay that way. I'm back to me: I like cookies. Nuff said. I admire you and your hard work.

@just4him No problem And thanks, though I don't really know what I am going to do. I just don't know that I can jump straight into super low carb....maybe I will ease into it and start with more calorie counting the first month or so, still limiting carbs but not cutting them out entirely yet.
