It breaks my heart that anyone would give birth to a child and then the mom would leave her infant inside of a trash can instead of taking the newborn to a safe place where any infant that has come into the world within 72 hours in Honolulu Hawaii. A male stranger heard a female who is the mother of the infant started to scream out loud. The stranger then saw the mom give birth to a baby girl and place her inside out a trash can in Honolulu on Monday evening. The stranger then went to rescue the baby girl infant after her mom left after he called 911 to report the incident to the authorities. When the Honolulu police arrived on the scene, they took the baby girl to Kapiolani Medical Center in serious condition. The Honolulu Police are searching for the mom who allegedly left her daughter in a trash can. It is a shame that some people do not value life as precious these days, Link is breitbart.com/local/2023/12...

@Deepizzaguy These babies are real life human beings . . . how sad they get treated as a piece of trash like that .

It is a shame that infants these days are being placed in the trash instead of being put up for adoption these days.

It was a terrible start to life, but hopefully, she’ll have years to discover how much there is in life to think about than how she started out.

Here in the US there are places you can take your newborn and leave it--with no questions asked at all. Not all states--some require a person-to-person surrender, some fire departments have safe haven baby boxes (an alarm is triggered inside so that a first responder gets the baby right away)...how sad is it to know that some people feel they are out of options and they throw away a life. That is very hard to understand.

@MarieCoyle I agree with you that adoption is the best way to deal with a birth of a child.

@Deepizzaguy I would think giving a baby up for adoption would be a lot better option than throwing it in the trash! I guess some people are ashamed or scared, but still...

We have many abandoned babies here, most of whom have congenital diseases or are female babies, so they are abandoned. In many areas of our country, there is a preference for sons over daughters, and they only want to have boys.Canadian swimming champion Margaret MacNeil. She is an adopted Chinese abandoned baby.In my opinion, her adoption is a good thing. If she were raised by Chinese parents, she might not receive such a good education because some poor families only support boys to go to college. Girls may enter the workforce after graduating in 9th grade, and their income will also be used to support the tuition fees for their boys to go to college

I agree. Life is so precious, and a child is not trash.

I know what you mean since the mom was probably in a panic mode when she gave birth to a child.

It was a callous, and thoughtless act, as she solved her own problem, but didn't care at all about the life of her newly born baby.

There are many other safe options. It's very upsetting that the mother chose to dump her baby in a trash can.

We also have such incidents here. Some teen girls got pregnant by accident, and they did not know what to do with the baby. So they just abandon the newborn baby in public toilets.

You are right since when I make an error in judgement like not having a ride from my doctor's appointment to go home, I had a dumb error of walking home from the clinic to my home which was around 2 miles.
