What kind of teapot do you use for your tea?

My old kettle that is only a few months old needs to be changed. I have to replace it soon, but I am confused. I am using herbal teas with tiny particles and I don't want those in the water. I am not sure if I should buy an electric kettle, a kettle with an infuser, or a normal teapot. I am using loose-leaf tea. I am not sure what an electric kettle would do. There are kettles with infusers, without infusers, and electric. All of these make me confused. I am not using tea bags and I have to work a lot to get rid of the leaves. But I prefer this instead of using tea bags.

I just make my tea in the microwave. Once in a great while I might brew some hot water in a kettle and make the tea in a teapot.

Do you use an infuser? Or a strainer?

I no longer use a tea pot. When I did, I usually had the ceramic ones..or a nice china one. Now I only make a cup of tea for single use.

I make a lot of tea. Yesterday I spent all day trying to find a teapot. I can't decide which one to buy. I was thinking of buying one with an infuser or one with a whistle. They don't have both. Making a decision is extremely difficult. And it should be easy to choose a teapot.

We personally just cook tea the traditional way. We don't use a kettle.

@dya80dya we cook tea using a pot (we call it sufuria). Then after cooking tea we sieve it and pour it in a thermal flask.

@mildredtabitha You have a different tradition. Here the tradition is to use a teapot.
