I currently have a love, hate thing with speakerphone going on

So, I had to call social security this afternoon. Always a joy!! not! Anyway, since I have the speakerphone on alerting me to someone picking up the phone, I am free to do other things. However, I used it yesterday on a recorded call..and my side of the conversation was totally distorted. I think it is probably fairly useless as a recording, and will have to be done again. I don't use speakerphone often, but there are times when it really comes in handy...do you love or hate speakerphone?

I haven't used it. The speaker I use is the one that is built in the phone. When someone calls, I receive the call and put the speaker louder.

My wireless earbuds are my best friend. I've been having to use them a lot lately because I've been getting a lot of calls from tharapists scheduling appointments with George.

@snowy22315 I can hear better with earbuds in. Plus I don't have to be glued to my phone. The range is pretty solid.

I hate someone putting me on speakerphone without my knowledge, which my dad does all the stinking time. He hears better that way, but often he’s with people (not in public places as he’s not going to be rude), and I want to make sure I’m not sharing information I don’t want shared.
I only use speakerphone on my end if I’m calling my pharmacy, or on hold with yes, Social Security. Otherwise, I sometimes get people who tell me they can’t hear me on speakerphone.

I love speakerphone. Anytime I have to hold for a long time I use it. Have a good day.
