@LadyDuck Oh, I agree things are MUCH more serious than they were in the Cold War. I was just commenting that experts have been saying it for that long. I just think we are still way off from WWIII.

@AmbiePam This is not what the experts in Europe are saying, the experts from the countries bordering with Russia said less than 2 years. I fear they are optimist.

The situation has changed, it would be great to still have the same situation we had in the 80s. Not there is a terribly escalation, here in Europe we are "getting ready". As usual we will be the most affected by a global war.

Because resources in the world are limited, and human nature is insatiable, there will be competition. If the competition escalates, there will be war. If there were a third world war, it would be a nuclear war.

I agree with you. There are serious reasons to fear the global war. If we will have a global war it will be a nuclear war. Europe helped Ukraine a lot.

At this point, I really don't care. My parents survived WW II and lived to tell about it. My husband is waiting for me up above and I am content with my life going on or ending, I am at peace with everything and what happens is nothing I can change so bring it on hope the end is quick and painless, One moment I am here the next up above,

No one knows for sure if there will be WWIII. But the world situation is worrying. Conflicts in Ukraine, Middle East, N.Korea/S. Korea and South China Sea may trigger a global war.
