Do you like the smell of jasmine flower? I do. It really smells so awesome for me. My cousin who is taking care of my house and garden in the Philippines doesn’t like the smell of jasmine. Well, everyone has its own preferences. This jasmine flower is thriving in my garden. My sister-in-law planted it when I wasn’t there yet. I am glad she did. I usually bought jasmine essential oil here in Germany for my aromatherapy oil. I have learned how to mix the essential oils when I took a course in aromatherapy ages ago. How I wish I have this flower in my German balcony in summer. What kind of fragrant flowers do you like to smell? Thank you for reading. Have a nice week to you all.

I like more the scent of honeysuckle than jasmine, but I also like jasmine. Soon the hyacinths will be in bloom That is my favorite scent, very strong.

@thelme55 I planted a tiny honeysuckle 10 years ago (a Japanese pink honeysuckle) and now it covered our whole fence.

@thelme55 No worries about the name, the German name makes it even sounds more authentic and beautiful. Some terms are better left original, like Gegenpressing or Tor in football.

To be specific, that is Sampaguita, especially if its from the Philippines. Its just one among the many species of jasmine. They are similar but not exactly the same. Though both are fragrant flowers and belong to the same genus, still they're different species.

It is called Sampaguita in the Philippines but in other countries it is called Jasmine. Just like Gumamela in the Philippines which is actually known as Hibiscus flower in another countries. Thank you @pitsipeahie.
