Why Up So Early

Two reasons. First: K had to get up at a ridiculous hour because of the monthly plant meetings held at work. At her plant, the 3rd shift ends, and 1st shift begins at 6 am. There is a joint meeting for the two shifts at 6. She has to get up at 3:45 am to get to work on time to be ready for the meeting. Second: Sophie decided, after K left, that she needed to go out for morning potties. The concept of going back to sleep after didn't occur to her. Thus, here I am. How has your day thus far?

Oh my goodness, what an adorable picture!!! Is Sophie a Corgi? My day has been nothing but bad news; so I'll just say "have a good day".

Yes, Sophie is a Corgi. She'll be three years old soon.

I thought having to get to the Central London for 7AM was a chore!

The good thing is these meetings are only once each month.

I slept through except letting the girls out once. They know they have to go back to bed

Sophie usually does quiet down if I crawl back into bed, but not this morning.

Hopefully Sophie will collapse later and you'll be able to catch a nap. That's a very early hour for K to get up.

I get woken early by my husband`s alarm clock. It starts to ring at 3.45am and it keeps ringing until one of us turns it off.

K's alarm usually goes off at 5:30am, which is the same time I used to get up before I retired. This morning is a once-a-month inconvenience.

I woke up today very early and, as usual, my first thought was morning potties. Then I started to mylot.
