Have you kept your old toys?

I kept some of my old toys. When I see them I have many beautiful memories. My uncle threw out all my old toys. I had a small castle and it was amazing. These toys connect me with my childhood. I know some women who still sleep with their toys. I kept only the good-looking ones. I don't have space to keep all the toys. My father got rid of some of them. I think he donated them to someone.

I have moved many times since childhood. There is nothing left of it. I don't know what happened to any of it.

@dya80dya At least, you have the things that are important to you. Did you ever want to live somewhere else or are you happy where you are?

Many people moved, and I stayed in the same place all my life.

I don't think I have anything left from my childhood. It's been a long time since I've seen in person my old house even.

@dya80dya I'm sure I do. Most of my pictures are of our old cats, though.

I have a doll too. It looks awful, but it was my favorite doll.

It's a small toy and can be kept in a pocket. It's nice that you kept a toy for years. I have an old doll, but it looks awful.

@akalinus I named him Micah when I was two years old. He was my special friend, I carried around in my pocket:) One time, he came up missing. They offered to buy me a new one, I refused. My father was fixing his morning cup of coffee. He found Micah, buried in the sugar bowl! lol

No, I have moved several times and my current apartment is small, no place to keep so many things.

If the apartment is small you can't keep them.

There are probably some at my parents house. I know there are games there we used to play.

Yes, I kept my favourites. I still have my teddy bears (my girls have them now) and I have my toy farm which I used to love to play with. And Lego.

It's really a nice thing that you've kept some of your old toys. Preserving those items can bring back many fond memories associated with childhood. Personally, I've also kept only the most meaningful ones, although I am too old now to remember my childhood toys. It's heartwarming to hear that some people have such a strong connection with their toys that they still sleep with them. Each preserved item represents a little window into our past.

It's true. The meaningful ones are the most important.
