Last day of the month. My first discussion for the month.

Good morning from this side of the planet. It's 11:20 here and I am back home from work. It was a short day at work today, but I have brought a load of work to be done at home. So, that would be keep me busy after my dinner in the night.
Time flies! The end of the second month of 2024 is here. And I am busy like a bee
. We come towards the end of our academic year in March. The two months long summer holidays start from March 21. And we get busy wrapping up the year, clearing up the inventory, accounting and writing elaborate reports for my special needs children. That's the work that keeps me busy after dinner. Also, I need to furnish two articles for my school newsletter before the summer break starts.
It's going busy with my afternoon therapy sessions that I take from my home. All my slots are busy and I am happy about that.
All this leaves very little time for online engagement. And the little time that I got recently were spent on some other site finishing few paid offers there.
I am still 40 cents away from my minimum payout here. And I might miss my payment for the fifth month here. That's okay, as long as I enjoy the site and keep coming back here, the pennies will keep accumulating. And there is always another month to get the payment.
I hope that you all have met your February goals both in online and offline world.
That is all blabbering for now. I hope that you all had a good February. And hope that March is also good for you all.

Yes, it's the most busy time of the academic year. With exams, report writing, final parents teachers meet, graduation parties, winding up of the academic year...there is a lot to be taken care of on our plates.

@arunima25 - I have been less active because of my husband's health problems.
He has a short term memory problem, he can remember nothing at all and I have to spend a lot of time with him trying to help.

@arunima25 The new academic year started in February. The children had been on holiday since about a week before Christmas. Universities might start just a little bit later. I'm not sure about that.

It must be time for schools to reopen there after summer holidays. Do you get long summer holidays? When does new academic year begin?

That is a very busy schedule.
I had a busy offline schedule with repetitive but important and time taking work.
And there was a day when I took off and a few things did not work that properly.
They did got sorted out.
Yet I am into another problem at a personal level.
It is bothersome and stressful.
A few contributing factors are out of our control.
Yet we have to somehow handle the situation.
Earnings rates have dropped here.
Yet more than that, I miss interacting with a few folks who were very active earlier but are no longer active.
Anyways, that's life and we have to look towards moving forward.

I hope that your reports, checkup goes fine.
New work challenges and some local travel is also up for the weekend.
There are new pressures at the job front.
Even though the Share Market and GDP growth figures look good, conditions in private sector are quite tough.
Companies are in a heavy cost control mode.
But well, that is life !

You too sound quite busy. And a bit overwhelmed too. I had that kind of feeling in the last two weeks. You are right. Not everything is in our control and we can only do our best.
I too find a few missing from here. A couple of them announced to be taking a break. I have not come across Daddyevil in a long time. I hope that all is okay with them and they are away from here for some good reasons.
Life goes on. I feel a lot relieved today. Few things are done and that's a big burden off the shoulders. I am done with the work at school. Leaving for my doctor's appointment... regular diabetic check up. Got a comprehensive blood test done yesterday. Need to show the report.

Here is is springtime and we're having some rain and the flowers are starting to bloom. It's nice to see the earth coming alive and decorating itself with colorful flowers.

Time flies, one third of this 2024 is already getting over. It was just yesterday that we were talking about welcoming 2024 and already so much of this new year is over. It's going good here. I am having summer vacation. Enjoying it fully and trying to make best use of it doing some deep cleaning and arrangements around the house.
How about you? Hope that all is well in your corner.

I checked my earnings summer here and I'm only around three dollars ish. I'm not worried about it either as I'm not here as much as I was years ago. I would have to look back to see when I was paid last. I'm sure it's been more than five months.
I just looked and I was paid six times in 2021 which surprises me, twice in 2022, and once in 2023-sometime in the summer.

The activities here have reduced a lot and that's impacting everyone's earnings here. It's getting tougher for anyone to reach the monthly payout. Well, I have crossed the five dollar mark and I am getting paid this month . I hope to be more regular and active here, but then it doesn't happen on all days.

@MarshaMusselman My earnings here have reduced from June 2023. I am not able to be much active here due to new role and responsibilities at work front. Before that I could reach the payout almost each month. And in some good months, I would even get double digit figure.
But it's okay as I am not so active these. Even many active myLot users are not so active lately.

My summer vacation started from last week of March. I am back from a week long family vacation in Phuket. Traveling again after a week to places to meet family members and attend a wedding. It's all full of travel and family social gatherings for me in April

Long time no hear. Lol. I've been busy since the new year started. Things are good for me here at home, but I don't want to get ahead of myself. I've got a lot on my plate, too, working from home on my freelance business among other things..
Gotta say.. I kinda miss being on this platform. The people are so much friendlier here than any other social media platform. I believe that's why it's still active. We enjoy the interaction with others here. But..
Like you, I've also been missing the mark on receiving payments. Just haven't been active enough. At least they do roll over the earnings. I think that's another reason why this platform is still active. I've met many people here. And I've been able to connect with people that I never would have elsewhere

Working with the special needs children isn't easy. It's commendable that you can still find time for yourself. Yes, MyLot gives people their space.
My friend, who I've seen dealing with special needs children used to have loads and loads of work and used to return in the evening with red eyes. Children love teachers like you.

Nope, I wasn't much active during March. Indeed, it was one of the less active months. I had a lot to tackle on work front as it was the end of the academic year and also time for my younger one's high school exam and graduation.
My summer vacation started from last week of March. I am back from a week long family vacation in Phuket. Now I have to travel next week to go to see my mom and brother. And then from there I plan to go and spend a week with my mother in law. They are all in different places and far from me. So, April is full of travel and social gatherings with family and friends.

Your end of the academic year does sound very busy for you.
I'm struggling to reach payout and will miss it this month by a small amount. Oh well, it's not the money that brings me here and I do really enjoy the interaction with everyone here.

It does get busy with a lot happening in the end. Exams, report writing, parents teachers meet, graduation party etc.Well, today I am feeling a lot relieved as a few things have been taken care of and a big burden is off the shoulders.
Money has never been my priority of coming here. It comes as a bonus. I enjoy the interactions here. I see a few active users missing here. Not seen DE ( Daddy Evil) for a long time. Hope all is okay with them and they are away for good reasons.
