Little by little

A few days after my mother died I don't know what to do next with my life. I feel depressed and I lost interest to go back to my store and do tutorial business. I said to my eldest sister I will just be a house helper cleaning house, cooking food , washing clothes. My sister said I will take the job of our helper and she will lose her job. My sister said I should use my talent in teaching kids. This week though I feel not in the mood I tried to start my life again little by little. I cleaned our dusty store, I bought things to sell in my store. This week I just tutor one kid and hopefully be back to my normal life. I need to start again little by little and move on with my grief and disappointment.

I apologize for not being here over the past few weeks. My sympathies are with your family on your loss. I am aware that you continue to experience daily pain from this. However, I am sure you will get past that eventually. You will eventually get over it, even though it will not happen right away. Simply ask God to grant you the ability to accept what transpired as a necessary part of life.

Yes, Holding on to Him will help you feel less pain, @averygirl72. I understand how difficult it can be to lose a loved one, but I also know that we will get over it eventually.

Grief and mourning are difficult to manage and you never really "move on". In my case, I mostly have learned to live with it that to overcome it.

Once you start teaching again, you might get more enthusiasm for it. I hope so. You have to give yourself time to be sad and to recover but that doesn't mean you can't start taking up your life again.

My sister was forced to take up a job. With her staying at home alone while i was away, was becoming unbearable. One day I returned home in the middle of the working hours just to check she was alright. Well, she's a home maker in every sense of the term. I know she's grieving but I no longer give her any advice. For that is added injury. I've left it to God. If she has to live with her pain, it's her choice. Maybe she'll grow out of it little by little.

Grief takes time. Gradually you will be able to move forward. You will never really get over the loss you will just learn to get through each day the best you can.

Loss of a loved one we have been with and cared for is so very tough. Just try to move forward, and do the best you can. I am sure your mother was very proud of you.
