It's Delivery Day

Happy Saturday Everyone! another rainy day here today. Ugh it's just dreary and nasty. I keep telling myself that spring is coming.
My daughter bought a treadmill and it's supposed to be delivered today. So, we have to keep a lookout for UPS and make sure they leave it by the garage. She decided that she's going to set it up in the garage rather than lug it down into the basement. I think it's a good idea to put it in the garage too. This way if my knees ever feel better I can use it too 
Also have a small grocery delivery coming early afternoon. With the weather prediction being for a very rainy day it just seemed better to have it delivered rather than venture out. I feel bad, though, for the person who is doing the delivery so I added extra to the tip.
Other than all that excitement, there really isn't much else going on.
Looks like a perfect day to read my book and maybe look for a movie.
Tonight we change the clocks and lose an hours sleep

Hope she enjoys the treadmill. I haven't used mine much this year. I should as it's easier on the bones than walking on this concrete floor.

@Marilynda1225 I usually set mine up in the family room during the winter so I can watch TV while I walk.

@wolfgirl569 that's a really good idea and you don't have to deal with bad weather. Etc. I think this one might take up to much room in our living room. I'm sure my daughter will figure out a way to either listen to music or watch TV while she uses the treadmill

I'll have to see if I can use the treadmill. I'm sure it will help as I don't get much exercise and my legs really do need to do some walking.

We have had lots of rain in England over the winter months but thankfully no snow. Spring is just around the corner & the plants are starting to peep through!

I just figure that whoever is doing the delivery needs the money so a little extra in bad weather would be appreciated.

Garage sounds like a good idea. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that a thrift store near here has a treadmill. I might see if it is still there. However, I would need someone to pick it up and get it in here. Not something I could do myself. I was just talking the other day, happens every year when it gets too hot to walk, will need an alternative..I usually swim, but I like walking. Swimming is a pain because now that more people live here more down at the beach with their dogs..

Yes, I hope you will be able to also use the treadmill..it will be a big delivery today for you.
Here, it is sunny and gorgeous..
But listening to a monster upstairs...still I won't let it ruin my day.

Lots of comings and goings from your place today.
I hope that you will be able to use the treadmill in time, once those knees settle down.
It was raining here this morning, but it stopped mid-morning and then the wind picked up and the temperature started to fall. It is not nice outside.
We are just relaxing together inside.
We've decided to make a lasagna for supper tonight, it is so much fun cooking together.
